Preparation, review, and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, GSTR-9/9C). Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation with purchase registers and vendor GSTR-1 / 2B. Follow-up with vendors for mismatch corrections and pending invoices. Classification of HSN codes for PP woven bags, fabrics, laminated bags, BOPP bags, etc. Handling GST on job work, branch transfers, stock transfers, and interstate supplies. Management of E-Way Bills, including reconciliation with sales and dispatch data. Responding to GST notices, audits, and departmental queries. Direct Tax (Income Tax)Computation of TDS / TCS and timely filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q). Ensuring proper deduction and deposit of TDS on: Job work Freight & transport Contract payments Professional & technical fees Preparation of Income Tax computation support schedules. Assistance in tax audit and assessments. Coordination for Form 16 / Form 16A issuance. Manufacturing & Industry-Specific Taxation Tax treatment of: Raw materials (PP granules, masterbatch, chemicals) Scrap sales (plastic scrap, wastage) Job work receipts & issues Compliance for inter-unit transfers and branch accounting. Monitoring GST impact on production losses, wastage, and by-products. Ensuring proper tax accounting for export sales (LUT/Bond, refunds, zero-rated supplies). Statutory & Regulatory Compliance Handling statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits. Maintaining records for GST, Income Tax, and other statutory laws. Coordinating with tax consultants, auditors, and government departments. Ensuring compliance with factory-related tax provisions (where applicable). Reporting & DocumentationMonthly GST reconciliation statements and compliance dashboards. Maintenance of tax registers, challans, returns, and working papers. Supporting management with tax impact analysis and cost implications. Identifying tax savings opportunities and compliance risks.
