Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities Design, develop, and configure robust PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic for BESS projects, adhering to project specifications and industry best practices. Develop intuitive and site-specific Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for SCADA systems, ensuring optimal user experience and data visualization. Lead and execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for SCADA and control systems, validating functionality and performance against design requirements. Perform comprehensive on-site commissioning of SCADA systems, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and integration with various field devices. Diagnose and resolve complex communication issues related to industrial protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3, and OPC UA, interfacing with Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Power Conversion Systems (PCS). Conduct systematic troubleshooting of SCADA and control system malfunctions during deployment and operation, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Update and maintain "as-built" wiring diagrams, control narratives, and other technical documentation post-commissioning. Accurately log and report all field deviations, technical issues, and proposed solutions for review by senior engineers and project managers. Provide technical support and guidance during the project lifecycle, from design to post-commissioning. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including project management, electrical engineering, and field & QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a closely related field. 2 to 4 years of proven experience in SCADA system design, development, and PLC programming within industrial automation, energy, or a similar SKILLS Skills : Proficiency in PLC Programming: Strong command of Ladder Logic (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text (ST), or other relevant PLC programming languages. HMI Development: Experience with HMI/SCADA software platforms (e.g., Ignition, Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Wonderware InTouch) for graphical interface design. Industrial Communication Protocols: Solid understanding and practical experience with Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3, and OPC UA. Database & Querying: Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. Control Systems: Familiarity with industrial control systems, instrumentation, and sensor integration. Electrical Fundamentals: Basic understanding of electrical diagrams, wiring, and panel Skills : Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design, documentation, and system configuration. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams, clients, and vendors. Adaptability & Site Willingness: Eagerness and ability to undertake frequent site travel for commissioning, troubleshooting, and project support.
