Job Title: Sustainability Analyst Intern Location: Chennai (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote) Duration: 3 months Department: Sustainability About Us: SOLiDPRO is a group of young, incredibly professional Technologists who intuitively and enthusiastically use their Engineering skills to help customers gain their objectives, covering the entire gamut of Industrial requirements - from research to documentation, design to development of distinctive prototype for special products or existing product enhancements. Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Analyst Intern who can assist in the preparation and analysis of sustainability reports, support tracking of emissions using GHG accounting methodologies, and is familiar with SDGs, GRI standards, and BRSR. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about sustainability, eager to gain hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, data analysis, and ESG practices. Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting sustainability assessments and audits. Support data collection and analysis for sustainability reporting, including ESG reports and impact reports. Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and projects. Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative strategies for enhancing sustainability initiatives within the organization. Conduct literature reviews and research on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in sustainability reporting. Help promote sustainability awareness and engagement among employees and stakeholders. Assist in the development of comprehensive sustainability reports that adhere to GRI, CSRD, CDP, BRSR guidelines, and other regulatory frameworks. Provide ideas/suggestions for new data collection methods and process improvements. Support the management (data collection, collation, and transformation) of SolidPro’s Sustainability SaaS platforms. Develop reports and presentations periodically depending on project requirements. Create questionnaires to gather insights on sustainability initiatives. Develop a special short version of key criteria, focus areas, and essential elements of sustainability standards/frameworks for seamless use, easy comprehension, and practical application. Desired Skills: Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of ESG/Sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, BRSR, TCFD, SASB, CSRD) is preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Understanding of sustainability-related regulations and best practices. Knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel; familiarity with data management tools is a plus. Attention to detail and ability to articulate viewpoints. Ability to work towards strict deadlines, and manage/prioritize tasks. Interest in ESG, climate action, and sustainability is desirable. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Completion of a recognized course on ESG/Sustainability reporting is a strong advantage.
