To perform and oversee non-destructive testing (NDT. activities in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures, ensuring the integrity and reliability of materials, components, and systems. The NDT Level II Engineer is responsible for conducting inspections using approved NDT methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, VT., interpreting results, preparing accurate reports, and supporting quality assurance and safety objectives. Support - Quality Control - Pipe Plant - Jhagadia - SteelPerform NDT inspections using certified methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, VT. according to approved procedures. Evaluate, interpret, and report test results with accuracy and technical clarity. Ensure that NDT activities comply with relevant standards such as ASNT, ISO, ASME, API, or customer-specific requirements. Prepare and maintain NDT reports, records, and documentation in a timely manner. Assist in the development and review of NDT procedures and techniques. Ensure NDT equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and used correctly. Report any non-conformances or defects and participate in root cause analysis as required. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. Support training and mentoring of NDT Level I personnel. Participate in audits and customer inspections when needed. Promote safety and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsPrincipal Accountabilities
Perform NDT inspections using one or more of the following methods: UT (Ultrasonic Testing., RT (Radiographic Testing., MT (Magnetic Particle Testing., PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing., and VT (Visual Testing.. Interpret, evaluate, and document results according to applicable standards, specifications, and procedures. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate NDT records. Assist in developing and reviewing NDT procedures in accordance with international codes and standards (ASNT, ISO, ASTM, ASME, etc... Work closely with Level III and Quality Assurance team to ensure inspection processes are carried out correctly and safely. Ensure all NDT equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning within required tolerances. Participate in audits, customer inspections, and third-party evaluations as required. Train and mentor Level I technicians and support their development and qualification. Support continuous improvement initiatives in the Quality Department.
