As an Engineer for Mechanical Maintenance in our Pipe Plant at Jhagadia, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical maintenance operations within the plant. This includes ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained and functioning optimally, and that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established safety standards and procedures. Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance programs for all mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, motors, conveyors,Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions. Perform regular inspections of machinery to detect and rectify mechanical issues before they lead to equipment breakdowns. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment. Identify and implement improvements to mechanical systems to enhance performance, energy efficiency, and safety. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare and submit reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime analysis.Provide technical guidance and training to junior maintenance staff on mechanical maintenance techniques and procedures.Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ensure the availability of spare parts for critical machinery. Manage inventory of mechanical parts, tools, and equipment.

Work on improving the pilgering process to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Keep detailed records of production processes, including parameters, product quality, and any issues encountered. Generate and submit reports on production performance, downtime, and process improvements.
