Job Title

Support - Central Stores - SteelThe Graduate Trainee – Stores will assist in managing inventory, material receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods. The role aims to develop practical knowledge of store operations in a steel pipe manufacturing environment. To develop competent store professionals by providing hands-on exposure to inventory management, material handling, and coordination in a steel pipe manufacturing facility.

Principal Accountabilities

Assist in receiving inspecting and accurately recording incoming materials to ensure quality and compliance with company standardsbr Maintain proper storage and identification of materials to facilitate easy retrieval and efficient inventory managementbr Support inventory control and stock verification activities to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepanciesbr Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions ensuring timely and efficient supply chain operationsbr Update stock records in ERP or inventory systems to maintain accurate and uptodate inventory databr Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe and organized work environmentbr Coordinate with production purchase and quality departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communicationbr Prepare basic inventory and consumption reports to support datadriven decisionmaking and operational efficiencybr Assist in receipt storage and issue of materials to ensure smooth material management processesbr Support stock accuracy audits and reconciliation to maintain inventory integrity and reliabilitybr Maintain GRNs material issue slips and ERP records to ensure accurate documentation and traceabilitybr Work with production purchase and QA teams to facilitate crossfunctional coordination and collaborationbr Prepare inventory consumption and variance reports to provide insights into material usage and inventory trends
