The Graduate Trainee – Stores will assist in managing inventory, material receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods. The role aims to develop practical knowledge of store operations in a steel pipe manufacturing environment. To develop competent store professionals by providing hands-on exposure to inventory management, material handling, and coordination in a steel pipe manufacturing facility.
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials
Maintain proper storage and identification of materials
Support inventory control and stock verification activities
Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions
Update stock records in ERP / inventory systems
Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
Coordinate with production, purchase, and quality departments
Prepare basic inventory and consumption reports
Material Management: Assist in receipt, storage, and issue of materials
Inventory Control: Support stock accuracy, audits, and reconciliation
Documentation: Maintain GRNs, material issue slips, and ERP records
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with production, purchase, and QA teams
Data Analysis: Prepare inventory, consumption, and variance reports
