Supply Chain Executive

The SCM Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and vendor coordination. The role ensures materials and products flow smoothly from suppliers to customers, maintaining cost efficiency and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement & Vendor CoordinationRaise purchase orders and track material deliveries. Coordinate with vendors for timely supply and quality compliance. Maintain vendor database, negotiate rates, and evaluate supplier performance. 2. Production & Material PlanningAlign production schedules with demand forecasts and material availability. Monitor daily material consumption and update inventory records. Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to avoid stockouts or overstocking. 3. Inventory ManagementMaintain optimum inventory levels through regular stock checks. Ensure accurate GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and stock reconciliations. Update ERP / MIS systems for material movements and balances. 4. Logistics & DispatchPlan and coordinate inward/outward logistics (raw materials and finished goods). Track shipments, prepare dispatch documentation (invoice, e-way bill, etc.). Ensure timely delivery to customers and adherence to dispatch schedules. 5. Coordination & ReportingLiaise with Accounts, Production, and Sales teams for smooth operations. Prepare MIS reports: stock status, purchase tracker, delivery schedules, etc. Support cost control and process improvement initiatives within SCM. Key Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics, and procurement processes. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Zoho / Keka or equivalent). Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills. Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability. Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Graduate in Commerce / Supply Chain / Operations; MBA preferred. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in SCM, procurement, or operations coordination (preferably in manufacturing or tolling environment).
