Roles and Responsibilities:
- Focus on In-house & Customer issues and work to reduce rejection by driving improvements in the shop-floor. Implement Poke Yokes by driving RCA with Plant Operations
- Identify Engineering related issues in the Plant & at Customer to drive actions with Engineering team
- Daily checks on rejections at the Plant. Conducting CFT discussions to perform RCA and actions
- Monitoring supplier related issues in the line & driving with SQ function for actions
- Monitoring & maintaining of warranty field failure data of Thermal Management Product for analyzing failure trend, component Pareto, reliability of product etc.
- Field failure reduction of Thermal Management Product as per target set to satisfy customer.
- To Reduce DOA failure of Thermal Management Product.
- Co-ordinating with zones /factory, supplier for warranty replacement of parts.
- Analysis of defective field returned components for RCA in co-ordination with SQE/IPQA Engineer.
- Conducting monthly CFT meeting for discussing field issues & implementation of action plan.
- Active participation in New Product Development for improvement in I & C process and Serviceability.
- I & C audit of Thermal Management products.
- Site visits across India for RCA of major breakdown.
- Cost of poor-quality data analysis for warranty failure and initiate action with service and factory to reduce the same & Field issue handling at site.
Qualifications
- 12-14 years with HVAC industry in field
- B.E Mechanical/ Electrical
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- Knowledge of HVAC / Precision Air Conditioning/ Chiller.
- Awareness of Topologies of HVAC
- Analytical skills
- Good communication skill & leadership quality
- Onsite experience.
