Category Understanding: You will need to develop a deep understanding of growth trends and dynamics in different sectors like Supermarkets, FMCG, Healthcare, Lifestyle, and others. Merchant Management: This involves managing existing merchant relationships to ensure they meet operational standards, product availability, and quality. 2. Store Operations and Catalog Management a. Store Cataloging: A key responsibility is to ensure that all products and services are accurately cataloged in the system. This involves organizing them into correct categories, ensuring up-to-date product details, pricing, and availability, all within the required timelines. b. Stock Management and Audit: Managing inventory effectively is crucial. You will oversee quality checks, stock levels and conduct audits to ensure there are no discrepancies in stock records. 3. Pricing Strategy: You will be responsible for ensuring that product pricing is competitive by maintaining pricing parity with key competitors. This includes monitoring competitor pricing trends and adjusting your pricing accordingly to remain attractive to customers 4. Order and Fulfillment Management / Order Lifecycle: You will oversee the entire order process, from order creation to fulfillment and delivery. This includes ensuring that orders are accepted and packed as per defined TATs,, managing any issues that arise during the order process, and ensuring ground-level resolution based on tickets raised by customers. 5. Team Leadership and Performance Monitoring a. Team Management: Leading and managing a team of store executives will be a core responsibility. Youll need to ensure that your team is motivated, properly trained, and able to carry out their tasks efficiently. Providing guidance, setting expectations, and maintaining communication within the team will be essential for success. b. Store Metrics and Performance: Monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) will be critical. Settling distributor claims (within stipulated time frame). Evaluate the performance of the modern trade channels. Responsible for getting the return processed and claims cleared for damaged/ expired goods. Maintaining sales and stock register Monitoring inventory control, thereby ensuring ready availability of the stock as per the market demand and implement effective logistic strategies. Examine market trends, customer insights, and the competitive landscape to find areas where modern trade channels can grow and innovate. Experience 7-6 + years of experience in FMCG modern trade sales. D-mart Experience is must Proven track record of onboarding modern trade channels.
