Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Record to Report (R2R) with 0 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance particularly in General Ledger (GL). Experience in Merchandising Finance and Accounting is a plus. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work during day shifts. No travel is required. Responsibilities Provide expertise in the Record to Report (R2R) process to ensure accurate financial reporting. Oversee the General Ledger (GL) activities including journal entries reconciliations and month-end closing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with financial regulations. Analyze financial data to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for process improvement. Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all financial transactions. Provide training and support to team members on R2R processes and best practices. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors. Contribute to the development and enhancement of R2R policies and procedures. Monitor and resolve issues related to GL accounts and financial reporting. Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance. Qualifications Possess a strong understanding of Record to Report (R2R) processes and General Ledger (GL) activities. Have experience or knowledge in Merchandising Finance and Accounting. Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Show proficiency in financial systems and tools. Display effective communication and collaboration skills. Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues. Certifications Required Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred. Show more Show less
