Job Description About the Role: FairGaze is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Sub Editor with a strong command of English and a passion for content creation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and curating high-quality articles, reports, and digital content related to education, school activities, and student engagement. You will play a key role in maintaining the editorial standards of FairGaze while collaborating with writers, designers, and the content team. Also need to cover the interviews and events. FairGaze Media Website: Content Review & Editing: Ensure articles and event coverage are accurate and well-written. Principal Interviews: Organize and conduct interviews with school principals, ensuring engaging content. Content Management: Oversee the content (both textual and audio/ video) and publishing schedule for school-related news, interviews, and events. Student Journalist Recruitment: Identify and guide student contributors for the website. Social Media Promotion: Coordinate with the social media team to promote website content effectively. FairGaze Schoolastic Magazine: Theme Development: Manage the magazine’s overall theme, aligning with school activities. Content Sourcing: Recruit and manage student journalists for magazine contributions. Magazine Layout Coordination: Collaborate with designers for magazine aesthetics. Proofreading & Fact-checking: Ensure accuracy and alignment with school standards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with schools to feature relevant stories and interviews. Job Candidate Profile We are looking for a talented and motivated individual with a background in Journalism and Mass Communication. The ideal candidate is a graduate from a reputable university and has demonstrated a strong work ethic and professional skills in previous roles. Qualifications A degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field from a recognized university. A proven track record of professional experience, showcasing relevant skills and expertise.
