Role & Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to assess students’ academic profiles, career goals, budget, and destination preferences; recommend target universities and programmes.
  • Manage end-to-end application processes: shortlist colleges, oversee document collection, review SOPs/LORs/resumes, submit applications, and track outcomes.
  • Provide accurate visa guidance and application support including document checklist, interview preparation, and post-decision next steps.
  • Hit recruitment targets by converting enquiries into applicants through timely follow-ups, events, webinars, and personalised outreach.
  • Maintain and update student records in CRM; generate reports on pipeline, conversions, and campaign performance to inform recruitment strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with university admission teams, test-prep partners, and local schools/colleges to expand referral networks.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) and 1–3 years’ experience in study-abroad counselling, international student recruitment, or university admissions.
  • Strong communication skills (English) with proven ability to counsel students and draft/review SOPs and admission documents.
  • Practical knowledge of major destination requirements (US/UK/Canada/Australia/EU) and visa procedures.
  • Experience using CRM tools (LeadSquared, Salesforce, HubSpot) and managing application pipelines.
  • Target-oriented mindset with experience meeting or exceeding recruitment/enrolment KPIs.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple student cases concurrently.

Preferred

  • Certifications in international education counselling or admission counselling experience with top-tier universities.
  • Experience with test counselling (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE) or partnerships with test-prep centers.
  • Fluency in additional regional languages and familiarity with local school/college ecosystems.
