You are looking for someone with "Left-Brain Logic in a Right-Brain World."

• Experience: 5–8 years total (with at least 3 years in an agency, architecture firm, or design studio).
• Vibe: Calm, assertive, organized, and emotionally intelligent. They need to speak the language of "creatives" (designers/writers) but enforce the discipline of "business" (deadlines/profitability).

A. Workflow & Project Operations (60%)

• Traffic Management: Ensuring the creative team (writers, designers) meets deadlines.
• Resource Allocation: Who is working on what? Are we overservicing a client?
• Quality Control: doing a final logic check on deliverables before they go to the client.

B. HR & People Operations (20%)

• Culture Keeper: Maintaining morale in the Mumbai office.
• Recruitment: Filtering resumes and managing the hiring pipeline for future growth.
• Onboarding: Getting new hires set up with emails, slack, and systems.

C. Office & Finance Admin (20%)

• Vendor Management: Handling printers, photographers, or external freelancers.
• Invoicing: Ensuring invoices go out on time and following up on payments (crucial for small agencies).
• Facility Management: Ensuring the office runs smoothly (internet, supplies, utilities).

When reviewing resumes, look for these specific keywords:

• Agency Experience: They must understand the pace of an agency. If they come from a slow corporate background, they might struggle.
• Financial Literacy: They don't need to be a CA, but they must understand P&L, invoicing, and project profitability.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana) and communication tools (Slack/Teams).
• Client Facing Polish: Since you are in a high-end niche (Architecture/Product Brands), this person may occasionally need to interface with clients. They need excellent written and verbal English.

We are looking for a Mumbai Operations Lead.

Just so you know, this role is for our Smaller office in Mumbai, which we are trying to scale up. We are looking for someone that is 100% dedicated to running the operations smoothly.
