Store Manager

Position OverviewThe Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure smooth functioning, excellent customer service, high sales performance, and efficient staff management. The role includes supervising the team, maintaining inventory, monitoring sales, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities1. Store OperationsManage daily store activities including opening, closing, and shift handovers. Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product display standards. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational guidelines. 2. Sales & Customer ServiceDrive sales targets through effective store operations and team motivation. Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally. Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business. 3. Inventory & Stock ManagementMonitor stock levels, reorder as necessary, and minimize wastage. Conduct regular stock audits and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment. Maintain accurate inventory records in the system. 4. Staff ManagementRecruit, train, and supervise store staff. Prepare staff schedules, assign duties, and evaluate performance. Motivate the team to achieve sales goals and maintain discipline. 5. Reporting & AnalysisPrepare daily/weekly sales reports and submit to management. Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for growth. Implement promotional strategies and monitor their effectiveness. Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving ability. Knowledge of retail operations, POS systems, and inventory software. Sales-oriented mindset with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. QualificationsBachelor’s degree (Preferred in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field).
