Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies and wastage.
• Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet production schedules efficiently.

2. Order Fulfilment & Coordination

• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Oversee the movement of materials from warehouse to production and vice versa.
• Implement prioritization systems for smooth production requirements.

3. Storage & Space Optimization

• Optimize warehouse layout and ensure efficient utilization of space.
• Maintain systematic labelling, segregation, and storage of materials.
• Introduce effective storage solutions to enhance capacity utilization.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure materials meet company quality standards.
• Conduct periodic inspections and monitor storage conditions.
• Prevent storage of damaged or non-conforming materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant storage environment.

6. Team Management

• Supervise, train, and mentor store and warehouse staff.
• Define KPIs and evaluate performance periodically.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and accountability within the department.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive records of material inflow/outflow and stock movements.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on inventory status, consumption, and variances.
• Present actionable insights for process improvement and cost control.

8. Technology & System Integration

• Operate and manage the Inventory Management System (IMS).
• Explore opportunities to automate and digitize warehouse operations.
• Train staff on software and technology usage for better accuracy and efficiency.

9. Cost & Resource Management

• Monitor warehouse operational expenses and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Optimize manpower and material handling resources.
• Minimize material losses and wastage through efficient controls.

10. Process Improvement

• Continuously assess store processes and suggest improvements for productivity and accuracy.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse/store management (preferably in FMCG or hygiene product manufacturing).
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, material handling, and warehouse operations.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/IMS software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements in industrial environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
