Job Description

Job Summary: The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HP Laptop retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining stock levels, and leading the store team effectively. The role involves managing store profitability, visual merchandising, and ensuring compliance with HP brand standards. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for laptops, accessories, and extended warranties. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue. Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction at all times. Handle customer queries, complaints, and service escalations efficiently. Maintain strong product knowledge to guide customers in choosing suitable HP products. Store Operations: Manage daily store operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and inventory management. Ensure accurate stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage replenishment. Maintain store hygiene, display standards, and ensure compliance with HP visual guidelines. Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate store staff to achieve individual and team goals. Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement. Reporting & Coordination: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and share insights with management. Coordinate with the HO/Regional team for marketing campaigns, new product launches, and promotional activities. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Sound understanding of retail sales and customer service principles. Knowledge of laptops, IT peripherals, and HP product portfolio preferred. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of retail experience, preferably in consumer electronics or IT products. Prior experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager will be an advantage. Work Environment: Retail store-based role with weekend and holiday shifts as per store hours. Dynamic and target-driven environment with customer-facing responsibilities.
