Position Overview The Store Keeper – Socketing Machine Division will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing materials for fabrication, machining, assembly, and finishing operations. This includes receiving, inspecting, recording, storing, and issuing materials — both mechanical and electrical — while ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely availability to the production floor. The role requires close coordination with production, procurement, and quality control teams to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing workflows. Key Responsibilities Material Receipt & Inspection Receive raw materials, bought-out components, hydraulic/pneumatic parts, fasteners, consumables, and electrical items such as PLCs, control panel modules, motors, gearboxes, and drives. Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery challans. Coordinate with Quality Control for incoming inspection and clearance. Inventory Management Maintain proper storage for fabrication items, sheet metal parts, hydraulic/pneumatic assemblies, CNC components, electrical parts, paints, and consumables. Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and binning of items for traceability. Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile with ERP records. Material Issue & Dispatch Issue materials to fabrication, machining, painting, electrical, and assembly sections as per production requirements. Coordinate with production supervisors for timely material availability. Prepare dispatch documentation for finished goods and coordinate with logistics. Coordination & Documentation Update ERP (Zoho ERP or equivalent) for all stock movements in real time. Maintain records for inward, outward, and returnable materials. Work closely with the procurement team to flag low-stock situations. Safety & Compliance Ensure proper handling and storage of paints, chemicals, hazardous materials, and sensitive electrical components. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe store area. Required QualificationsDiploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related field. 3–5 years of experience as Store Keeper in a manufacturing or heavy engineering setup. Knowledge of fabrication, machining, assembly components, and electrical subassemblies (PLCs, control panels, motors, gearboxes). Proficiency in ERP systems (Zoho ERP preferred) and MS Office. Familiarity with ISO/AS9100 documentation requirements. Key Competencies Accuracy & Attention to Detail – Zero-error material handling and record keeping.
