Production Engineer

Job Title: Production Engineer – Aerospace Tooling Location: Hyderabad Department: Production / Aerospace Tooling Division Reports To: Production Manager / Operations Head --- Position Overview Masters Preci Tools Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer with a strong background in aerospace tooling or precision mould and die manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of close-tolerance machining (micron-level accuracy) and demonstrate expertise in advanced machining processes, ensuring the highest quality standards for aerospace components and tooling. --- Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Execution Plan, schedule, and monitor machining operations to meet project timelines and quality standards. Ensure efficient use of machines, tools, and manpower for optimal production output. Precision Machining Supervise and execute operations involving CNC machining, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), wire cutting, and electrode sparking. Oversee special weldments, surface finishing, and chemical treatments including blackening, phosphating, and anodising. Quality & Tolerance Management Ensure all jobs meet micron-level accuracy and aerospace specifications. Review engineering drawings, identify critical tolerances, and validate machining strategies to achieve the required precision. Process Optimization Develop and improve machining processes to reduce cycle times and enhance productivity. Implement cost-effective methods while maintaining strict quality compliance. Team & Vendor Coordination Collaborate with design, quality, and stores teams to resolve technical challenges. Coordinate with vendors for special processes, materials, and treatments as required. Documentation & Compliance Maintain detailed process records, inspection reports, and adherence to aerospace manufacturing standards (AS9100 / ISO). Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and customer requirements. --- Qualifications & Experience Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent. Experience: 2–6 years in aerospace tooling, precision mould/die making, or high-precision machining environment. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of CNC operations, EDM, wire-cutting, and electrode manufacturing. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Hands-on understanding of special surface treatments and chemical finishing processes. Familiarity with aerospace quality systems and precision measurement instruments (CMM, VMM, etc.). --- Key Competencies Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
