Job Description

Conduct regular physical audits of materials and consumables at project sites and central stores.
Verify stock balances against ERP/system entries and highlight discrepancies.
Review and audit documentation for goods received, issued, transferred, and returned.
Monitor material handling practices including stacking, binning, labeling, and expiry-sensitive items.
Identify pilferage, excess consumption, obsolete stock, and material wastage.
Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, inventory control standards, and safety norms.
Coordinate with site storekeepers and procurement for resolution of issues and training on best practices.
Submit audit reports with actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Assist in quarterly/annual stock takes and prepare reconciliation reports.
Follow up on implementation of corrective actions and audit closures.
