Job Description

Role Summary

The Store Auditor is responsible for conducting operational, financial, and compliance audits across outlets to ensure adherence to brand standards, SOPs, statutory requirements, and performance benchmarks. The role helps identify risks, improve controls, and drive consistent store-level execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Audit & Compliance

Conduct regular audits of stores covering operations, hygiene, food safety, cash handling, inventory, staff practices, and customer service.
Verify compliance with company SOPs, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements (FSSAI, safety norms, labour compliance).
Perform checklist-based assessments and score each store on defined parameters.
Identify deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities.

2. Financial & Inventory Controls

Review cash management processes, billing accuracy, voids, discounts, coupons, and refunds.
Audit inventory levels, wastage reports, stock variances, and consumption patterns.
Cross-check vendor invoices, GRNs, and stock reconciliation.

3. Operational Excellence

Evaluate adherence to food safety standards (temperature logs, hygiene checks, storage protocols).
Review store cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and service quality.
Monitor speed of service, order accuracy, and customer feedback mechanisms.

4. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, scores, photographs, and recommendations.
Highlight critical non-compliance issues requiring immediate action.
Track corrective actions and follow up on closure with store teams
