Job Purpose

The Lead will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing buyers and sellers in the steel and construction materials ecosystem, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment. The role involves building customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, managing repeat transactions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Order Management

  • Generate business leads through market research, networking, and customer engagement.
  • Contribute to sales strategy and achieve assigned revenue targets.
  • Manage existing accounts for repeat orders and upselling opportunities.
  • Support customers with pre-order inquiries and ensure timely order processing.


Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and target key segments such as builders, contractors, engineers, fabricators, and wholesalers.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings to strengthen relationships with decision-makers.
  • Onboard new customers, convert leads, and drive continuous transactions.


Data & Process Management

  • Maintain accurate customer data in CRM, including meeting updates, documentation, and inquiries.
  • Ensure timely updates for smooth tracking of customer interactions and order lifecycle.


Customer Satisfaction

  • Maintain clear communication regarding delivery timelines, quality, and service commitments.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and monitor customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.


Collaboration & Compliance

  • Work with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of orders.
  • Adhere to company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.


Qualification & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales, buyer management, or customer-facing roles, preferably in Steel, Construction Materials, or E-Commerce sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools and digital platforms for sales management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics, steel trade practices, and industry trends.
  • Results-driven mindset with a customer-centric approach.
