About the role: We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 2–4 years of IT experience to join our team. The role involves identifying automation opportunities, building automation frameworks, and conducting performance testing to enhance system reliability and efficiency.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Tosca, Postman, LoadRunner, and JMeter. Proficiency in UI/API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies is essential. You should possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to mentor junior team members.A solid understanding of APIs, JSON/XML formats, and web application testing is required, with a particular focus on test-driven development and regression management. Specifically, this role will involve: Identifying opportunities and drive the implementation of automation to improve service health, manageability, and reliability Develop Automation Frameworks, evaluate toolsets, and suggest application-specific solutions Perform Performance Testing using a variety of toolsets Remain current on new technologies, methods, and procedures including, but not limited to, coding practices such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment Provide technical leadership throughout the area Effectively collaborate with peers and influence others Qualification: BE/MCA from a reputed institute with 2-4 Years in IT Experience. Ideal candidate will have: Min. 2 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Automation. Experience with developing and implementing Testing Automation Frameworks Experienced with both UI and API based testing automation Experienced with automation strategies for unit testing Experienced with CI/CD pipeline automation Experienced with Selenium, Tosca, Postman, and other open-source automation tools Experienced with Performance Testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter Software Engineering Experience. Agile and Scrum experience. Good to have skills: Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner Ability to recognize design and usage patterns and adapt designs accordingly. Requires strong oral and written communication skills Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Ability to facilitate meetings and action plans Must be a strong team player Ability to understand REST/SOAP API, JSON, and XML formats – experience with API testing tools is a plus. Knowledge of Web Application, Performance, Database, Security, and Web Service Testing. Experienced with test-driven development Regression test management Mentoring members into analyzing application features, designing test scenarios/test cases that cover end-end functional testing, executing tests, defect logging and tracking to closure, and preparing test summary reports.
