Job Summary:

Business Development Executive


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition:

    Identify new business opportunities in the media and creative solutions sector. Build and execute a targeted strategy to approach potential clients and expand Schbang’s client base.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations. Understand their business needs and propose tailored solutions across creative and media channels that address their challenges.
  • Creative Solutions Sales:

    Understand the range of creative solutions Schbang offers (e.g., content creation, media strategies, digital transformation, etc.) and effectively communicate their value to clients. Customize pitches that reflect client needs.
  • Media Strategy Sales:

    Leverage your knowledge of media planning and buying to create tailored media solutions that drive client engagement and business results. Help clients understand the power of multi-channel media strategies.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:

    Build, track, and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools. Ensure timely follow-up and effective communication with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
  • Negotiation & Closing:

    Own the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach and proposal development to closing deals. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to drive revenue.
  • Collaboration with Creative & Media Teams:

    Work closely with internal creative and media teams to ensure that client expectations are met. Align sales strategies with creative and media project execution.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs to identify potential opportunities and improve sales strategies.
  • Reporting & Metrics:

    Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales activities, results, and key performance indicators (KPIs).


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

    in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development, sales, or account management in the

    media, creative solutions

    , or

    advertising

    industry.
  • Strong understanding of

    creative services

    ,

    media buying

    ,

    digital marketing

    , and

    advertising technologies

    .
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive new business and exceed targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on relationship building and deal closure.
  • Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of creative processes, media strategies, and the ability to articulate these to clients effectively.


Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in a media agency, creative studio, or solutions-based business.
  • Familiarity with media planning tools and creative production processes.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate client needs and provide innovative, creative solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
