Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Senior Talent Development Specialist

to manage learning initiatives across the MSS (Moody’s Shared Services) business. This role combines project management, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and instructional design. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a bias for action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
    • Lead and manage talent development initiatives for a large portion of the MSS business.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand learning needs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Chief of Staff Support:
    • Act as the Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Talent Development.
    • Prepare Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), manage team communications, track deliverables, and oversee business reporting.
  • Learning Design & Development:
    • Collaborate with the e-learning development team to coordinate content creation and delivery timelines.
    • Support training design that aligns with business goals and learner needs.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Facilitation:
    • Liaise with multiple departments including Compliance, HR, and Business Units to ensure smooth implementation of learning programs.
    • Facilitate training sessions, manage communication campaigns, and drive engagement.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Leverage data to measure learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
    • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to report on key performance indicators and insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree in HR, Education, or Business is a plus.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, or HR Business Partnering.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in using data to inform decisions; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Power BI experience is a strong advantage.
