Job Summary

Job Title: CAE Structural Crash Senior Analyst Reference: Revision: V.0 Summary This Role is Senior Analyst of Structural Crash Protection to work on all aspects of delivery on the ongoing / future vehicle programs. Should have 5 to 7 years of working experience, must have previous experience of Auto OEM/Tier1 in crashworthiness simulation with a demonstrable record of delivery of the accountabilities. Key Responsibilities: Experience in Full vehicle Crash model build (Modelling and Assembly). Proficient in Meshing of automotive components including Plastic parts. Able to clear intersections/penetrations & do connections for full vehicle Crash models. Good Understanding of contacts, load types & boundary conditions for Crash model. Able to debug and deliver quality models for LS Dyna as per planned timelines Rich experience in conducting Full Vehicle Crash performance evaluation (Frontal, Side, Rear Impact, Roofcrush, SBA etc) independently using LS DYNA; providing countermeasures for achieving performance targets and improving overall design. Well versed in various vehicle structural crashworthiness & safety requirements: both regulatory and consumer rating assessment for ECE/AIS/ENCAP/GNCAP/LNCAP. Perform advanced CAE simulations. Evaluate, analyse, interpret & improve component level and full vehicle crash performance. Prepare detail Technical reports. Develop & apply advanced crash safety FE methodologies and analysis techniques to drive innovation in design. Able to work effectively with design teams to develop solutions within defined deadlines and time constraints for performance improvements. Collaborate with Test Engineering teams to develop and support subsystem level and full vehicle crash tests. Perform detailed post crash test analysis and correlate CAE simulations to test results. Use correlated simulations and work closely with cross functional engineering teams to progress the design and improve the crash safety performance. Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelors/Master‿s degree in Automobile and Mechanical Engineering. 5 7 Years of working experience in Crash in automotive industry. Software experience in CAE pre processors, solvers, and post processors in a product development environment ANSA, Hypermesh, Meta, LS DYNA, Primer. Experience with testing and result correlation. Exposer to Test data analysis. Strong analytical skills.
