Key Responsibilities:
Service Strategy & Planning
· Develop and implement the service strategy aligned with company goals
· Design service delivery models to ensure high uptime and reliability of installed systems.
· Establish KPIs and SLAs for service quality, response time, and resolution.
Customer Support & Satisfaction
· Lead customer support and technical assistance teams to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
· Drive initiatives to enhance customer experience and brand reputation.
· Manage escalation handling and critical customer complaints effectively.
Field Service & Operations Management
· Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar inverter systems.
· Plan preventive maintenance schedules and ensure execution.
· Monitor field service performance and optimize resource deployment.
Service Network & Partner Development
· Identify, appoint, and manage service partners and authorized service centers.
· Train and audit service partners for adherence to company standards.
· Ensure spare parts availability and supply chain coordination.
Team Leadership & Training
· Build, train, and lead a high-performing service team (engineers, technicians, regional heads).
· Conduct regular technical and behavioral training programs.
· Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Technical Expertise & Feedback
· Provide technical guidance on inverter systems and related technologies.
· Coordinate with R&D and production teams to feedback field issues and improvements.
· Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements.
Reporting & Budgeting
· Develop and manage service budgets and cost control initiatives.
· Present periodic service performance reports to management.
· Monitor warranty costs, spare parts consumption, and service profitability.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
· Experience: Minimum 7-8 years in service/after-sales roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in the solar inverter, power electronics, or renewable energy industry.
