Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Executive – Building Materials is responsible for driving sales, developing business relationships, and expanding the company’s customer base in the construction and infrastructure sector. The role involves promoting and selling a range of building materials such as cement, steel, tiles, pipes, paints, or related products to contractors, builders, architects, dealers, and project consultants.

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and approach potential clients such as contractors, developers, architects, and dealers.
  • Generate new business leads and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company policies.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Provide after-sales support, resolve customer issues, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Build rapport with decision-makers and influencers in the construction industry.
  • Gather client feedback and communicate insights to the marketing and production teams.

3. Market Research and Analysis

  • Monitor competitors’ products, pricing, and market trends.
  • Identify new market opportunities in upcoming infrastructure and real estate projects.
  • Analyze sales data to evaluate performance and improve sales strategies.

4. Coordination and Reporting

  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotations, and sales reports.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Participate in marketing events, exhibitions, and trade fairs as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in sales of building materials or construction-related products.
  • Proven track record in B2B or channel sales within the building material industry.
  • Familiarity with construction projects, procurement processes, and dealer networks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
