We are seeking a qualified and experienced Sr. Purchase Executive to join our dynamic team at Crescent Opto Pvt. Ltd, a leading LED manufacturing company. The Purchase Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services required for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent negotiation skills, a strong understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
• Forecast demand for materials and services to optimize inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted production.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, engineering, and quality control teams, to identify purchasing needs and specifications.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, including issuing purchase orders, tracking orders, and resolving discrepancies.
• Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and new technologies relevant to LED manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration and Bachelors or masters in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the Electrical manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, including inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and other relevant tools for sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Knowledge of LED technology and its components is a plus.
