About the Role:

As a Sr Product Owner, you will play a critical role in shaping customer-facing product experiences by driving intelligent, scalable solutions. This position sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and customer advocacy. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design and prioritize digital product roadmaps, streamline operational workflows, and ensure product delivery meets business and customer expectations. You’ll own the Agile team backlog, work closely with developers, designers, and other product stakeholders, and ensure continuous improvement through iteration planning and refinement. If you enjoy transforming complexity into meaningful product outcomes and thrive in fast-paced, agile environments, this role is for you.


What You’ll Do:

  • Build, maintain, and prioritize the Agile (Scrum/Sprint) team backlog with input from key stakeholders
  • Write clear, concise user stories and requirements, including acceptance criteria and acceptance tests
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure timely, scalable technical delivery
  • Review and accept completed stories, ensuring they meet quality standards and production-readiness
  • Drive backlog grooming and sprint planning to maintain 2 iterations of 'ready' user stories
  • Coordinate dependencies with other Product Owners during Program Increments
  • Represent the voice of the customer within the team and foster a customer-first culture
  • Ensure existing production defects are properly prioritized for resolution
  • Support cross-functional teams in executing strategy and continuously improving delivery workflows
  • Use agile tools (e.g., Jira) to manage stories, track progress, and generate reports

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.)
  • 5–8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Technical Lead in an Agile software environment
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and story mapping
  • Proven success translating business goals into prioritized user stories and features
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, UX, and business stakeholders
  • Expertise in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting dashboards
  • Excellent writing and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize user data to inform product decisions
  • Working knowledge of digital product development lifecycle and delivery best practices
  • Experience in cross-team coordination and dependency management
  • A customer-obsessed mindset with a focus on product quality and performance,


Must Have Skills:

  • Experience in

    writing and managing user stories

    and translating business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
  • Proven expertise in

    product roadmapping

    and working as a

    Technical Product Owner

    , driving the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Strong background in

    data analysis

    to support decision-making, product improvements, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Proficient in

    SQL

    for querying data, validating backend processes, and supporting analytical tasks.
  • Hands-on experience working with

    REST APIs

    or

    microservices-based architectures

    , particularly in backend service integration and management.
  • Solid understanding and experience in

    Agile methodologies

    , with a track record of contributing to high-performing, cross-functional Agile teams.
