This role is for one of our clients Industry: Art / Creative - Product Designer Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Min Experience: 7 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time We’re looking for a highly creative, user-obsessed Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional digital experiences across our web and mobile platforms. You’ll lead high-impact design initiatives, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and help shape the future of our product ecosystem with thoughtful, scalable, and elegant design solutions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Design Leadership Own the end-to-end product design process—from discovery and ideation through prototyping, delivery, and iteration. Define a long-term design vision that aligns with business objectives and user needs. Champion a user-first mindset across teams and advocate for design excellence at every stage of development. User Research & Insight Lead generative and evaluative research to uncover user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Leverage usability testing, data analytics, and market research to inform product decisions and continuously improve experiences. Design for a global audience with an understanding of cultural nuances, especially in fintech and cross-border services. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with product managers, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful designs. Actively contribute to roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and team rituals (e.g., sprint planning, retros). Mentor junior designers and contribute to fostering a collaborative and high-performance design culture. Design Systems & Consistency Maintain and evolve our design systems, component libraries, and UI patterns to ensure consistency and scalability. Uphold accessibility standards, responsive design best practices, and pixel-perfect execution across devices and platforms. Complex Problem Solving Tackle ambiguous design challenges and balance business, technical, and user constraints with creative thinking. Rapidly prototype and iterate based on feedback and performance metrics to deliver effective and elegant solutions. What You’ll Bring Experience : 6–10 years of experience designing for digital products in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Experience in fintech or global product design is a strong plus. Portfolio : A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work that demonstrates user-centric thinking and visual storytelling. Tool Proficiency : Mastery of modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC) and prototyping platforms (e.g., Framer, InVision). Research & Analytics : Hands-on experience conducting or synthesizing user research, and familiarity with data tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Hotjar, SQL basics) is a bonus. Design Systems : Experience maintaining or building scalable design systems. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Team Fit : A self-starter with a collaborative mindset who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys solving tough product challenges. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in startups or product-first companies. Understanding of financial products, compliance constraints, or transaction workflows. Exposure to frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) is a plus but not required.
