ROLE OVERVIEW/ PURPOSE

This position will manage India labour compliance, which includes Statutory compliance, labour compliance, Labour audit, Inquires, liaising with govt. offices, coordinate with labour consultant etc.

OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Labour law compliance: -

• Should able to handle compliance of 20 Plant and Offices located across India
• Shop & Establishment/CLRA license registration & renewals
• Maintained registers & records under various labour law in prescribed format.
• Timely submission of Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annually returns under various labour law for all states (Shop & Establishment, Employment Exchange, Bonus Act, Workmen Compensation, Apprentices, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Maternity Benefit Act, POSH Act etc.)
• Provide necessary updates related to various labour law amendments/notifications to respective stakeholders.
• Liaisoning with labour authorities for licensing, notices, Inspections etc. and respond on time to the labour notices.
• Coordination with Labour Consultant for timely compliance under all Act and labour provision across all the branches.
• display notices and abstracts on the notice board in all the offices.
• Handel labour audits and resolved audit observation within stipulated time.
• Monitor E&Y compliance tool and highlight noncompliance issue and take it for reasonable solution in stipulated time
• To publish monthly E&Y compliance dashboard to management team.

Statutory Compliance: -

• Ensuring timely generation of PF, ESIC, LWF, PT challans for online payment across all Branches.
• Coordination with Payroll, Accounts & Finance team for making the statutory payments like PF, ESIC, P. Tax, LWF.
• Guide employees for linking Aadhaar and UAN, E-Nomination Forms, transfer claim approval follow ups.
• Statutory Payment reconciliations and ensure Zero balance in respective GL accounts
• Handel Internal & External Audits and provide challan/returns as per requirements.
• Calculation of Gratuity payments for resigned/retired employees and Submission of Gratuity Form L to concern authorities.

Contract Labour Compliance: -

• Handling 110 contractors across all the branches in Pan India.
• Conducting monthly vendors audits through compliance agency – Simpliance
• Closely monitoring the vendor’s audit reports and ensuring all the critical compliances are adhered by all contractors.
• To publish the monthly compliance dashboard to all the stakeholders.
• Follow ups with contractors for uploading the compliance documents on the portal as per the audit schedule.
• Follow ups with concerned departments for timely renewal of contractor’s agreements.
• Timely submission of CLRA returns to concerned authorities as per applicability.
• Providing the compliance clearance for processing the contractor’s monthly invoices.
• Timely registration, renewal, amendments of CLRA licenses as per applicability.
