Job Title: Sr. Manager – Electrical & Automation Design & Development Location: Sari, Ahmedabad Reporting to: Vice President – Corporate R&D CTC: ₹14 – 17 LPA (depending on candidate & experience) Preferred Age Group: 33–36 years (flexible) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Manager – Electrical & Automation Design & Development to lead our R&D initiatives in electrical and automation systems. The ideal candidate will bring 12–15 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing end-to-end automation solutions with a proven track record of team leadership, innovation, and successful project delivery. This role demands a balance of technical expertise, leadership ability, and strategic thinking to drive innovation and ensure seamless integration of electrical and automation systems within our product portfolio. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical and automation systems. Mentor and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving. Drive R&D projects from concept to commercialization within defined timelines and quality benchmarks. Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, embedded electronics, software, and production) for integrated product development. Evaluate and implement advanced automation technologies to maintain competitiveness. Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, NEMA, NFPA, etc.) and best practices. Prepare detailed technical reports and provide expertise to internal teams and customers. Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence in all R&D initiatives. Qualifications B.E / B.Tech (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical & Instrumentation) from reputed institutions (Premier or Non-Premier). Experience12–15 years of professional experience in electrical & automation design / R&D. Minimum 3 years of proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams. Strong background in electrical panels, industrial automation, SCADA, PLC programming, sensors, motors, and drives. Hands-on exposure to end-to-end automation service/solution development. Experience in Automobile, Switchgear, or Industrial Machinery Manufacturing industries preferred. Skills & Competencies Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
