Position Overview:


The Sr. Manager, Architecture will serve as a key technical leader, responsible for designing scalable and high-performance Salesforce solutions that meet complex business needs. This individual will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and Salesforce administrators to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with best practices and drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities


Solution Design

  • Architect scalable and sustainable Salesforce solutions that support business processes and integrate with other systems.
  • Provide end-to-end technical guidance and leadership throughout the Salesforce implementation lifecycle.
  • Leverage Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products to design customized solutions.


Technical Leadership

  • Collaborate with development teams to implement custom Salesforce solutions using APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and integrations.
  • Review and ensure adherence to best practices in Salesforce development and deployment, including code reviews and performance optimization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to guide business and technical teams on Salesforce features, updates, and capabilities.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other architects, to translate business requirements into actionable Salesforce solutions.
  • Engage with key business stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives, advising on how Salesforce capabilities can be leveraged to meet these goals.


Integration and Customization

  • Design integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using APIs, middleware, and data migration strategies.
  • Develop custom solutions and workflows using Salesforce technologies, ensuring the seamless integration of Salesforce with existing enterprise systems.


Governance and Best Practices

  • Maintain Salesforce architectural standards and best practices, including security, data management, and performance optimization.
  • Lead efforts in Salesforce governance, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security protocols.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and emerging best practices to continuously improve the organization’s Salesforce environment.


Mentoring and Development

  • Mentor junior architects, developers, and Salesforce administrators, providing guidance and technical oversight.
  • Lead technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to foster a culture of continuous learning.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce in an architect or senior developer role.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Platform.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning, APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce integrations, including APIs, web services, and middleware.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data migration, and data integration.
  • Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior business and technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Familiarity with other cloud-based platforms and enterprise solutions such as AWS, Azure, or SAP.
  • Experience leading large-scale Salesforce implementations and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
