Project Cost Estimation & Analysis Job Title: Sr. Executive – C&I Costing (Interior Manufacturing) Department: Commercial / Costing Location: GREATER NOIDA Reports To: Manager – Costing Experience: 3–6 years (preferably in interior manufacturing or furniture industry) Job Purpose: To manage end-to-end costing operations for commercial and industrial interior projects, including estimation, budgeting, BOM validation, cost analysis, and pricing strategies in alignment with project goals and business profitability. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed costing for interior projects (modular furniture, fit-outs, civil, electrical, etc.). Analyze material, labor, overhead, and installation costs. Develop costing models for BOQs and tender documents. Bill of Materials (BOM) Management Validate BOM received from design/engineering team. Coordinate with procurement for updated material rates. Ensure accuracy in raw material and component mapping. Vendor and Procurement Coordination Liaise with procurement and vendors for rate collection and comparison. Monitor cost fluctuations and their impact on product pricing. Budgeting & Profitability Analysis Assist in project budgeting and provide insights on margin control. Track cost-to-completion and flag deviations from estimated costs. Data Management & Reporting Maintain costing database and cost sheets. Prepare MIS reports for management on costing trends, variance analysis, and cost optimization. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with design, project, sales, and finance teams for smooth costing workflow. Support sales team with pricing inputs for client proposals and tenders. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of costing principles in interior manufacturing. Hands-on experience in cost estimation tools (Excel, ERP systems like SAP, Odoo, etc.). Knowledge of material specifications in interiors (wood, laminate, hardware, etc.). Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Understanding of project lifecycle in commercial interior projects. Good communication and coordination abilities. Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil or Interior Design / MBA (Finance) preferred. Specialized training or certification in Costing / Estimation is a plus.
