About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join our internal research team at Marutinandan Capital Pvt. Ltd. This role involves deep fundamental analysis of listed companies to support investment decisions through structured research and financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

● Thoroughly analyze financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) of other listed companies

● Interpret and evaluate annual reports, investor presentations, management commentary, and filings

● Build and update financial models for valuation and forecasting (DCF, comparable multiples, etc.)

● Prepare investment research reports with clear insights, rationale, and recommendations

● Monitor industry trends, macroeconomic factors, and company-specific developments

● Present findings and investment ideas to the internal team in a structured manner

● Collaborate closely with the portfolio management team to align research with investment strategy

● Maintain proper documentation of research, models, and source materials

Required Qualifications (any one):

● Master’s in Economics

● Ph.D. in Economics

● Chartered Accountant (CA)

● Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) – Completed

● MBA in Finance from a reputed institute

Experience Required:

● 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in equity research

● Strong experience in analyzing Indian listed companies across sectors

● Exposure to writing investment reports and presenting recommendations internally

Key Skills:

● Deep understanding of company financials, ratios, and valuation techniques

● Strong analytical, modeling, and critical thinking skills

● Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint

● Excellent communication and report-writing skills
