Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Identify and target potential clients in various sectors including IT, data centers,telecom, manufacturing, and commercial establishments requiring server racksystems and wall mounting enclosures. Generate new leads through market research, networking, and cold calling. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, andtechnical proposals to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively, ensuring profitability and customersatisfaction. Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promoteMessung's solutions. Technical Consultation & Solution Design: Understand customer needs and technical specifications related to server racks,network cabinets, wall-mount enclosures, and associated accessories (PDU, cablemanagement, cooling solutions). Provide expert technical advice and recommend optimal solutions based on clientrequirements, space constraints, and future scalability. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure that proposedsolutions are technically feasible and meet quality standards. Conduct site visits to assess client infrastructure and propose suitableconfigurations. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, channelpartners, and system integrators. Act as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries and post-sales support,coordinating with relevant internal teams for issue resolution. Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to informproduct development and sales strategies. Market Analysis & Reporting: Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitorofferings in the server rack and enclosure market. Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity reports formanagement. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, IT, or Computer Science
preferred) or a related technical field.
Experience
3-6 years of proven sales experience in selling IT infrastructure products, specifically serverrack systems, network cabinets, wall mounting enclosures, and related accessories or BMS/Building Automation solutions. Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure, data center environments, networkingcomponents, and thermal management. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into effectivesolutions. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM software is a plus. Willingness to travel extensively within Pune and other parts of India as required.
