Job Summary

The Sr. Developer role is crucial for driving innovation and efficiency in our hybrid work model. With a focus on Azure Databricks and Starburst the candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance data processing capabilities. This position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience ensuring robust solutions that align with our companys goals and societal impact.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data solutions using Azure Databricks to optimize data processing workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Starburst technologies for seamless data access.
Design scalable architectures that support complex data analytics and business intelligence needs.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards to protect sensitive information.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data platforms to maintain system integrity.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster skill development.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for effective implementation.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data queries to enhance system efficiency.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure Databricks and Starburst to drive innovation.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of Azure Databricks and its application in data processing.
Demonstrate proficiency in Starburst technologies for effective data integration.
Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software development focusing on data solutions.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Show experience in designing scalable architectures for data analytics.
Display knowledge of data security practices and compliance standards.
Have the ability to mentor junior developers and guide them in technical tasks.
