Job Description

As a Sr. Application Engineer / Territory Head at GBT Bearing and Automotive, your role will involve various responsibilities in the Sales department. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities and qualifications required: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for specialty lubricants in the Bearing and Automotive industries across Gujarat. Your role will involve formulating and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets. Additionally, you will engage with key decision-makers, OEMs, and end-users in the bearing and automotive sectors to build and strengthen long-term relationships. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and develop new business opportunities for specialty lubricants in the Bearing and Automotive industries across Gujarat. - Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets. - Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, industry events, and digital platforms. - Engage with key decision-makers, OEMs, and end-users in the bearing and automotive sectors to build and strengthen long-term relationships. - Conduct technical discussions and recommend suitable lubricant solutions based on customers" operational requirements. - Develop and manage sales through channel partners to optimize coverage and service efficiency. - Analyze competitive products and market trends in the automotive and bearing segments to identify growth opportunities. - Ensure adherence to company policies, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and quality standards. **Qualifications Required:** - 4+ years of relevant sales or application engineering experience in industrial lubricants, automotive, or bearing sectors. - Experience in managing sales through channel partners and direct B2B sales. - Bachelors degree in mechanical / automotive engineering or related technical field. - MBA in Marketing / Sales (preferred). - Ability to travel extensively across West India and nationally as required. - Hands-on experience with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management. The company also values individuals with strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi, proficiency in relationship building and negotiation, as well as strategic thinking and decision-making abilities. If you have additional experience in market research, product benchmarking, or product development, it would be considered a plus.,
