Job Description:

The key responsibilities and areas of focus are:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month end close activities in line with DXC reporting calendar.
  • Providing financial reports that accurately reflect financial performance of the offering/Org being managed.
  • Perform financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling. Develops recommendations from information and results; considers and conducts additional analyses as appropriate
  • Ensure forecast accuracy at the Offering level through financial modelling and analysis and providing decision making information to business, to include risk and operations related to the forecast
  • Support processing of manual JVs, Accruals, Amortisations, prepaid expenses review, CCOW PO management.
  • Residual management (tracking & work towards better utilization, Utilization analysis, Tracking of Cost optimization plans, support to drive value attainment plans of delivery. Track key KPI like Utilization, pyramid, cost per person (CPP) through key programs.
  • Ensure a complete understanding of the cost at the Offering, including the basis of labor charges and non labor charges.
  • Assists in developing financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques.
  • Manage and lead ad-hoc request from business and enable them with financial information and inputs for appropriate decision making.
  • Build and maintain productive, beneficial relationships with Offering leadership, operations and delivery managers and other internal groups.
  • Provides in-depth business insights and analysis for the variances against forecast and budget
  • Work with Portfolio finance team in building rate card on yearly basis as this is key to Offering financial performance
  • Build strong relationship with Finance leadership and other business functions like controllership, Corp FP&A, IT team across the organization.
  • Provide executive support to leadership on presentations.

Qualification and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. CA or MBA preferred.
  • 4 to 6 or more years of business finance or FP&A experience
