- Overall 15+ years of procurement experience including 5+ years of upstream procurement experience.
- Proven record in managing business relationships with stakeholders and IT services suppliers.
- Knowledge of labor, tax and other laws and regulations related to contingent workforce.
- Proven experience in RFx bid management, vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational company environment within budget and time constraints.
- Ability to manage multiple business needs and prioritize simultaneously procurement processes in various stages.
- Experience in information technology, telecommunications, or similar industry.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
What will your job look like?
- Work closely and conduct review meetings with business units’ key stakeholders to learn their business needs, identify potential solutions and recommend the suitable procurement process to be followed.
- Continuously develop and maintain a subject matter expertise of contingent workforce market trends and provide market analysis insights to support business decision-making.
- Lead and conduct procurement processes such as supplier sourcing, supplier due diligence, RFx management, supplier selection, contract negotiation, deal review, and oversight contract execution and purchase order placement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with business process, company policy and regulations compliance, and execution of business strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contingent workforce suppliers to be positioned to support ongoing business needs.
- Oversee the utilization and integration of contingent workforce to meet the business needs and successful delivery.
- Report on procurement activity such as sourcing initiatives, competitive bids, supplier selection, contract negotiation status, deal closure and achieved cost efficiencies and savings.
- Identify potential areas of business efficiency improvement, cost reduction opportunities or required risk mitigation solutions and strive to implement effectively and timely.
