Job Title: Procurement Associate

About EnviPack

EnviPack is an Indian startup founded in March 2023. We are building a scalable procurement platform for D2C, e-commerce, logistics, agritech, and hotel businesses. Our platform supports end-to-end procurement of packaging materials, consumables, and bed, bath & linen.

#873, 3rd floor, 28th Main Rd, Corporation Colony, Jayanagar 9th Block, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560069Position OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring packaging materials, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.The right candidate is organized, analytically strong, communicates clearly, and has familiarity with procurement processes in the packaging industry.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure competitive terms.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance to understand procurement needs and timelines.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve issues promptly.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improvements to supply chain efficiency.
  • Prepare procurement reports, including supplier performance, inventory levels, and cost savings.
  • Adhere to company policies and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Support broader procurement strategies to strengthen EnviPack’s market position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (IIP graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management; experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier and internal relationships.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
