Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Experience or interest in automation testing will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

● Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

● Perform functional, regression, UI, integration, and system testing.

● Identify, report, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.

● Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.

● Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA-related discussions.

● Contribute to test documentation including reports, test coverage, and defect metrics.

● Support automation initiatives and gradually build automation skills (if applicable).

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

● 1–4 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual testing).

● Experience with test management and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, etc.).

● Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

● Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have (Good to Have Skills)

● Exposure or working knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, JMeter).

● Basic understanding of scripting (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.).

● Experience testing APIs, mobile applications, or cloud-based platforms.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
