Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies, sheet metal, and weldments using
SolidWorks
.
Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with accurate
dimensioning, GD&T, tolerances
, and
BOMs
.
Interpret client inputs and email instructions effectively.
Manage design files and revisions using
SolidWorks PDM
.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI).
Translate client requirements into precise 3D/2D outputs.
Support fabrication by resolving design/documentation issues.
Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to explain concepts and resolve queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
1–2 years of hands-on experience with
SolidWorks
.
Proficiency in
SolidWorks PDM
.
Strong command of
Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Weldment
modules.
Expertise in 3D modeling, drafting, and detailing for manufacturing.
Solid understanding of
GD&T
, machining processes, sheet metal operations, and fabrication methods.
Knowledge of material selection (steel, aluminum, sheet metals, structural sizes).
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills for client-facing interactions.
