Software Tester

Roles Responsibilities

• Perform end to end testing of complex workflows and data driven modules.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
• Coordinate with DevOps for deployment verification and environment checks.
• Use AI assisted tools for faster test case generation and regression coverage.
• Validate API integrations, payloads, and error handling behaviour.
• Apply expertise across all major testing types: functional, regression, integration, system, usability, compatibility, smoke, and sanity.
• Build and optimize regression suites for faster, high coverage execution.
• Execute cross browser, cross device, and cross platform testing.
• Prioritize testing based on risk, impact, and release timelines.
• Maintain sprint wise documentation: test plans, cases, and reports.
• Conduct sprint test case reviews for full feature coverage.
• Present test findings, defect insights, and quality risks in team meetings.
• Continuously upskill with new QA tools, frameworks, and practices.

Key Requirements

• Ability to test microservice based and asynchronous systems (queues, cron jobs).
• Basic Git skills for branching, merging, and reviewing QA/automation scripts.
• Strong proficiency with browser dev tools for debugging and analysis.
• Experience creating reusable test data, mocks, and stubs.
• Ability to produce clear, concise, sprint aligned test documentation.
• Self learning mindset with rapid adoption of new QA technologies.
• Confidence in presenting defects, risks, and quality insights to teams.
