Software Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software integration and development projects. This role will manage cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between business goals, technical implementation, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically literate, and capable of leading multiple software projects from concept to completion — ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee the entire software project lifecycle from kickoff to delivery.
• Coordinate between internal teams (engineering, product, QA, and design) and external vendors or partners.
• Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and ensure progress aligns with business objectives.
• Manage daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and progress tracking in Agile or hybrid environments.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers that impact project scope, timeline, or quality.
• Monitor budgets and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective execution.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders — providing regular updates, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, software standards, and integration best practices.
• Collaborate with technical leads to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience managing software or IT projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Trello).
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within scope.

Preferred:

• Experience with API integrations, SaaS platforms, or healthcare/pharmacy technology.
• PMP, CSM, or other project management certification.
• Background in software engineering or technical analysis.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹21,494.02 - ₹91,984.96 per month
