Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Utilize version control systems such as GitHub and SVN for code management. Ensure code quality through peer reviews and adherence to coding standards. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring security best practices (RBAC). Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills. Experience Proven experience in software development with a focus on web development. Proficiency in IT infrastructure management and application development. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Experience with database management systems like MySQL or SQL Server. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment. Understanding of Linux operating systems is a plus. Experience with quantum engineering concepts is beneficial but not required. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. About the Project We are developing a cloud-based integration platform that connects PioneerRx Pharmacy Software with several third-party tools to automate pharmacy operations. The system will streamline workflows between prescription fulfillment, shipping, delivery tracking, appointment scheduling, and customer messaging. You will lead the technical planning, coordination, and delivery of this project — overseeing both in-house and outsourced developers to ensure we build a secure, scalable, and efficient platform. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Define the overall project roadmap, milestones, and deliverables for a 4–6 month build. Coordinate between product stakeholders, developers, and third-party vendors (e.g., PioneerRx). Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories. Manage outsourced developers or an external agency (potentially offshore). Technical Oversight Validate and design API integration strategy between PioneerRx and third-party platforms (Locate2u, ShipStation, Heymarket, Acuity Scheduler, Cognito Forms). Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA awareness preferred). Oversee architecture documentation, API design, and system scalability. Review pull requests, technical proposals, and milestone deliverables. Execution & Communication Run weekly sprints and progress reports. Maintain agile boards (ClickUp / Jira / Trello) and GitHub project tracking. Coordinate testing and deployment timelines. Identify risks early and provide mitigation plans. Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Solution Architect, or Engineering Lead . Proven track record managing API integration projects (preferably in healthcare, logistics, or SaaS). Strong understanding of web technologies (Node.js, Python, React, REST APIs, databases). Experience managing remote or outsourced development teams . Excellent communication and documentation skills (English fluency required). Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies . Preferred Experience working with pharmacy software (PioneerRx, Liberty, QS/1, or similar) . Background in healthcare data security (HIPAA / PHI) . Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with automation tools like Make, Zapier, or n8n. Manage daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and progress tracking in Agile or hybrid environments. Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers that impact project scope, timeline, or quality. Monitor budgets and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective execution.
