Software Engineer, Senior

Position Summary

This position is in the Business Solutions Delivery organization and will report into the Business Insights & Emerging Technology department. This Individual Contributor role will be responsible for supporting our mid-office capabilities by accelerating our deliverables on BSD vision and overall emerging technology strategy.

The person in this role will be engaged in developing and contributing to the solution of our engineering and software content. They will also ensure open and transparent communication with the requestor and apply Infor’s culture as a premises of their day-to-day activities.

• This person must be enthusiastic about Emerging Technologies, be self-motivated and results oriented.
• Communicate and engage with key internal business partners (Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Data engineering, Data governance etc.).
• Integrate AI capabilities into applications, collaborating with data and product teams
• Champion and lead data governance best practices, ensuring data quality, security and compliance
• Contribute across the full technology stack (front-end, back-end, databases, cloud)
• Explore, discover, learn, and seek knowledge in interest of executing on team’s vision.
• Develop training materials and ensure documentation creation is in support of a robust data catalogue.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience in web UI frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
• Hand-on experience with AI integration and data governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in full stack development (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL DB’s, CI/CD)
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working at a Software/SaaS company with working knowledge of mid-office/back-office functions such as HR, Finance, Product Development, IT and similar.
• Project Management experience (Agile and Waterfall methodologies).
