Job Description

We are looking for a JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interfaces and reusable components. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different infrastructure layers. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design and quality products is essential. Responsibilities Responsible for the development of a new highly-responsive, web-based user interface Construct visualizations that can depict vast amounts of data Work with the product team and graphic designers Learn and understand user interactions Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ BCA/ MCA Experience with JavaScript 2+ years of experience with REACT Experience with HTML / CSS Experience with REST APIs Required Skills Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Hands-on experience in React JS, Redux, TypeScript/Flow Types, and Advanced JavaScript concepts to build scalable web applications Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js) Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus Familiarity with RESTful APIs Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools Experience with standard front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial Show more Show less
