Jira Lead Administrator
to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Jira Lead Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the Atlassian tool suite to enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, and support key organizational projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of Jira solutions and support the continuous improvement of processes.This role is ideal for professionals passionate about leveraging cutting-edge tools to improve productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments, including creating and managing workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and permissions.
- Manage and maintain Jira Assets for effective asset tracking and management.
- Develop and implement automation rules and integrations to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design custom solutions that meet business needs.
- Oversee the installation and management of plugins and third-party integrations to extend Jira and Confluence capabilities.
- Conduct regular system audits, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide support and training to end-users, promoting best practices and effective use of Atlassian tools.
- Generate custom reports and dashboards to support project tracking and decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of overall experience in Jira administration, including managing complex workflows and configurations.
- Strong experience with Jira Service Management and Jira Assets (Insight).
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience implementing automation within Jira using built-in tools or scripting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or other Atlassian certifications.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Groovy, Python) for custom automation and advanced configurations.
- Familiarity with ITSM processes and advanced reporting using JQL.
- Experience in Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud migration .
Qualifications:
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required.
- Preferred Work Experience (years):Bachelors degree and 2+ years or Masters degree with no experience.
- All Other Regions: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required
